31 Aug, 2009 Bradenton Preparatory Academy Welcomes First Students

Bradenton Preparatory Academy welcomed students for the start of the school term to their brand new campus at Dubai Sports City this week, much to the excitement of students, parents and teachers at the new school.

According to Dr. Michael Gemma, Head of School at Bradenton Preparatory Academy, everyone who visits Bradenton will be impressed by the new facilities available:

"This is an exciting time for everyone involved in this wonderful project. As we welcome our first students to Bradenton Preparatory Academy, I am confident they will be hugely impressed by the facilities we have created here and will enjoy their school experience at Bradenton Academy for many years to come."

The opening of Bradenton Preparatory Academy represents yet another milestone in the ongoing development of Dubai Sports City. According to Khalid Al Zarooni, President, Dubai Sports City, Bradenton Academy is just one of a number of exciting developments taking place in the near future:

"I wish everyone at Bradenton Academy every success for the future. This is another great development for Dubai Sports City, and, along with the opening of a number of Academies later this year, is proof that we are working harder than ever to deliver facilities of the highest international standards."

The Bradenton campus spans more than 130,000 square feet and includes a kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, high school, auditorium, gymnasium, fully equipped science laboratories, a performing arts centre, two art rooms and a media center.

"The unique environment at Bradenton Preparatory Academy provides a flexible teaching curriculum to allow students to explore a wide range of performing and visual arts, sporting programmes and other extracurricular activities, while progressing through an advanced American curriculum that includes mathematics, sciences, history, and Arabic language," added Dr. Gemma.

Bradenton Preparatory Academy will have a maximum of 18 students in each class, ensuring project-based and student-centered learning experiences.
