Mr. Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni, Chairman of the Al Zarooni Group of Companies, is one of the few businessmen to initiate a diverse sector business holding within the Emirate of Dubai. The Al Zarooni Group of Companies was founded in the early sixties and has since diversified in size and stature across various disciplines of the Emirate's business development.
The Group has been pioneers in businesses including Real Estate, Construction, Retail (including Mall ownership and Management), Industrial related materials and components, on a local, regional and international level, in addition to endeavours in foodstuffs, industrial plastics and garments. In construction the Group is one of the largest construction companies within the Emirate of Dubai and is also well known for its golf course residential communities built in the United States, that have received numerous "Best Community" awards. The Group is widely recognised as a major player in the Retail Sector by way of its ownership of innovative and landmark shopping malls in premier locations in Dubai and internationally. As Chairman AND Partner of Dubai Sports City, Mr. Al Zarooni brings immense knowledge of realty and other related matters to the project.

Mr. Abdulrahman Bukhatir is the Chairman of Bukhatir Group and Partner of Dubai Sports City. Bukhatir Group was established in 1974 with the primary objective of investing and entering into joint ventures to create and expand business activities in the United Arab Emirates.
Through his vision and dynamism, Bukhatir Group has grown into a huge business conglomerate with a highly diversified portfolio. With over thirty subsidiary and associate companies, Bukhatir Group has interests in Information Technology, Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Education, Media, Retail (including Mall ownership and Management) and Trading in addition to various other facets of industry, across the United Arab Emirates and internationally. Mr. Bukhatir is known worldwide for bringing international cricket to the UAE and, under his guidance, Sharjah was treated as an international venue for world cricket. He also owns Ten Sports, a premier sports channel of Asia. He is a member of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) of London. Mr. Bukhatir brings with him a wealth of experience in Sports, Sports Management, Sports Broadcast and his influence and relationships with numerous international sporting institutions has been one of the reasons behind the phenomenal success of Dubai Sports City. Under his able direction, the Bukhatir Group has recently forayed into International markets developing mega projects themed on Sport.

Mr Abdulrahman Falaknaz is the President of the Falaknaz Group and Partner of Dubai Sports City. He is as prominent a businessman as he is known as a pioneer in the promotion of sports in the United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Falaknaz is involved at an Executive level in a number of sporting associations that include being Chairman of the Dubai Cricket Council, Vice-President of the UAE Tennis Association, Board Member of the UAE National Olympic Association, Director of Finance at the UAE National Olympic Association and Honorary Board Member of the UAE Fencing Association.The Falaknaz Group has business interests ranging across Construction, Real Estate, Retail (including Mall ownership and Management), Sports and Sports related trading, Exhibitions Management and Jewellery.
Mr. Falaknaz has been dedicated to the development of sports amongst the younger generations of the United Arab Emirates and has been the creative force behind the sports academies at Dubai Sports City |
